he is my roadblock. b 16 July 1861 Gadsden AL (1920 census records show born in MS)Area he was born in was incorporated into 5 or 7 other counties ~ I have checked with their local genealogy group and there is no info found. d 1 March 1966 Louisiana. buried Metropolis, Franklin Parish LA Married Ella Jones (maiden) Stokes (1st married Albert M Stokes) (1864-1940). Henry told his granddaughter, Jeanette, he only went to school 3 days, could never read nor write. Never shared any info about parents, siblings or any other family members. we don't think he ever served in the military, and was likely a farmer. we have a Y-DNA test from a small local lab in Lafayette LA, but can't find another lab that will "share" the info to be able to track Y-DNA family members. Very much would appreciate any suggestions as to how to find info or if anyone has info that might connect your family to them.
