She was my great great grandmother and married Joseph Weise. They were Hungarian. Their daughter Minnie was born in Hungary and died in 1915 and all this information came from her death certificate. Minnie married Joseph Posnosky from Poland or Russia in the US and they had 3 children, Dan, Sadie and Francis.Sadie or Sarah was born in 1895 and was my grandmother. She married Nathan Wolberg whose father was Solomon Wolberg and whose mother was Rachel Weil. Rachel's mother was a woman withe the initials K.D.G. Her father was Jacob Weil.

JULIUS was born in Baden Baden Germany in 1821 and immigrated to the US in 1840. In 1853 he married HANNAH MAYER (also have seen it spelled MEYER) He died in Nashville TN on June 1. 1906. He also lived in Indiana where his wife was known as Jane and Birmingham,AL. He had 9 children: MAX, SIMON, CHARLY,COLEMAN, SAMUEL,SALLIE, MILLIE, FLORA, and BERDIE. He founded Blach's Department Store in Birmingham, AL. When he came to the US he was a peddler for a while.

LOUIS LOWENSTEINwas born in Frankfurt Germany on 8/30/1835. When he came to the US a woman with the same last name FRANCES LOWENSTEIN whose parents were BERTHA AND SOLOMON LOWENSTEIN. Together they had 7 children:GRACE, ROSE (ROSA), SOLOMON, SARAH, MINNIE, JULIUS, and
DAVID. When he arrived in the US he settled in Nashville TN and became a merchant of hides. He died on 6/22/1907 in Nashville TN.
