Info on Bretts
The Brett's I am researching are from Loughborough, Leicestershire and came to the US in 1830 with their children Maria and Harriet. William Solomon Brett was born in 1809 and his wife Sarah Ann Watts, was born in 1810. I would really appreciate more assistance with this.
Potts Family Question(s)
Hello,
My ancestry searches have brought me as far as William Potts, b. 1777 in Acomb. He marries Ann Leadbitter in 1805. I would really like to know more about his family and any of his ancestors. I have had my DNA tested and the closest testers to me find their paperwork taking them to Haydon Bridge, Haltwhistle, and Lines Farm by Bewcastle. We have not had a solid connection on paper. My wife and I have traveled to Acomb and the country side and found it beautiful.
In any case, if someone has access to further information on this Potts branch I would really appreciate it.
