he married Maria Whiley and had 8 Children

Ada, born 1869
James, born 1871
Maria, born 1873
George, born 1876
Olive, born 1878
Zillah, born 1881
and Gordon born 1885
Alexander died in 1911
He owned the Mount Pleasant Hotel in Leadville

Mary Ann Cook married Thomas Stewart Harris in 1894 at Berry, NSW, Australia
I am trying to trace her family as none of the relatives have any information on Mary
There is a stack of Cooks on BDM site but nothing to distinguish individuals
Any help would be appreciated.
