I received an e-mail from Dora Coffman futher confirming the John Holley line from which I am a descendant.

I have been in contact with a person named LaVerne who is doing Holley research. It could be something. The John Holley line is evident, as soon as I figure out who he is descended from.

My name is Doug and I am researching the Holley families of Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma, among other states. I have this line traced back to John Holley born 1650 in Virginia. there are gaps though, my maternal grandmother was adopted in Arkansas. i have lots of information to share for those interested in exchanging.
