My grandfather's brother, Daniel McLaren, left Scotland for US (probably Boston) in 1923 aged 21 (b1902 Greenock). I have made contact with his greatgrandson, but we can't find any reference of his death or any other details of his life in US.

Elizabeth McGILLVRAY (b 1827 in Calder, Inverness, Scotland, married Alexander McKIRDY jnr in 1854. I have identified her parents as Donald McGILLVRAY and Elizabeth McPHERSON and I would like to find out more about them.
Mary McMILLAN and Alexander McKIRDY
Mary McMILLAN (or McMULLEN) was the wife of Alexander, mother of Alexander McKIRDY (b1807) I keep coming up against a Mary Wilson who Married an Alexander McKirdy and had a son, also Alexander. I found them in a census in Largs, Ayrshire, Scotland. I've been wondering if they're the same Mary who has perhaps been married twice. Would love to hear from anyone who had them in their tree.
Looking for any information about Thomas Paterson m Elizabeth Singleton in Armagh. Then moved to Scotland.
Mary Ann Paterson, daughter of Elizabeth Singleton and Thomas Paterson is my Great grandmother. I would like to find out more about the Patersons and singletons in Ireland. Thomas's father was also names Thomas and his mother was Maria Ferguson from Lurgan in Ireland.
