My name is Shirley Billmyer(Sommerfeldt) and I am married to Roger Lynn Billmyer (b.1955) Parents were Arthur Carl Billmyer (b.1913-1977) and Norma Billmyer (Jones)(1919-1960). Arthurs parents were Charles E Billmyer and Carrie K Billmyer(Borchert).Charles E Billmyers parents were Edward C Billmyer(born ?) born in Virginia and Mollie M Billmyer (maiden name unknown) born 1865 in Missouri.I am at a dead end with research because the lack of Mollies maiden name and I cant find what family in Virginia that Edward fits into.( His name could also have been Charles Edward ).He moved west to possibly Missouri,married Mollie,had one son in West Virginia and had Charles E in Maryland. According to census, Mollie was a widow by 1900 in Maryland with two sons. She showed up in later census living with Charles E and Carrie Billmyer in Cumberland Maryland. Also ,cannot find grave records for any except Arthur.
