Since I can't find my dad,I decided to try to do his family tree and hopefully that will lead me to him.My Dads name is John Lisby born 1947 in Indiana I don't know his fathers name,but his grandparents are Forrest Lisby and Mary Elizabeth Stokes.The only child of Forrest and Mary's that I know of is Richard W.Lisby born Aug.11,1928 died Dec.14,1999 he married Geraldine Mae Jones born Apr.24,1932 in Franklin,Indiana and died June 15,2003 in Indianapolis,Indiana and had 8 children William R.Lisby;Bruce A.Lisby born Jul.8,1949;Dale A.Lisby;Gale(Lisby)Woods;Sinda(Lisby)Hoover;Danny D.Lisby;Ralph R.Lisby and Steven E.Lisby all of Indiana.Dale and Gale are twins.

I'm trying to find my 2nd cousin,he can give me info about my dad.
His name is Bruce A.Lisby born July 8,1949 in Indiana he married Tresea J.(Pogue)Lisby in 1973.His wife died in 1998.They had abt 4 or 5 children,but only 2 I knew Curtis Caldwell 35 yrs old and Beth(Lisby)Winkler abt 33 yrs old.Last known address was Miller St Shelbyville,Indiana in 1976.His parents are Richard W.Lisby and Geraldine Mae(Jones)Lisby both deceased.His siblings are Ralph R;Sinda;William(deceased);Danny D;Steven E;Gale;Dale A.I knew Bruce when I was little,but haven't seen him since I was 9 yrs old.He's the only person on my dads side of the family that knew about me.

John is my Dad,but I have never met him and he doesn't even know about me but I would like to find out any info on him and his family.All I know is his name is John Lisby,he was born around 1947.He lived in Fairland,Indiana in 1967.He possibly has a son named John or Johnny.I do know the names of some of his cousins and their parents names.The cousins are Bruce A.Lisby;Dale A.Lisby;Ralph R.Lisby;Sinda(Lisby)Hoover;Gale(Lisby)Woods and David Lisby and their parents are Richard W.Lisby and Geraldine(Jones)Lisby.I would guess that Richard would be the brother of John's dad. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

I had found my dad, shortly after posting this. We talked on the phone a lot, but unfortunately he died before I could actually meet him in person. He had 2 sons Johnny and Chad I still would like to meet someday.
