His son Benjamin H Jenkins is my 3rd great-grandfather , Benjamin married Nancy Jane Cash in Botetourt County,Va . Their son Robert E Jenkins is my 2nd great-grandfather born in Roanoke County,Va he married Elizabeth Bonham in Wythe County,Va . Their daughter Ida Jenkins (never married) was my great-grandmother and her son Charles Preston Jenkins was my grandfather . Charles married Susan Jane Walters and my father was their son Charles Andrew Jenkins who married Wilma Jane Lambert in Staunton,Va
I have no idea who John's parents were or if he was born in Va or not . His wife Hannah's father was Luke Embly and I do not know where he was born or who her mother was . John and Hannah lived in Massie's Mill area in Nelson County,Va
