sunrise on Family Tree Circles

I am looking for my wife's family in Germany any help would be most grateful

My wife's Great(x2)Father was born 13 May 1824, Richard Beckefeld in Hassel District, Hoyan, kingdom of Hanover, Germany. Richard migrated to Victoria, Australia from Germany in or around 1853 with his wife Anna & son also named Richard. They settled in Richmond & are now buried in the pioneer section of Carlton cemetery.
I am unable to locate any information on his parents in Germany as most sites are in German.
