My father is Robert POOL b 1927 Indiana d 2001 Utah. His father is Chester POOL b 1896 Indiana d 1975 Indiana. His father James POOL b 1853 Indiana d 1893 Indiana. His father is Daniel POOL b 1822. We have seen conflicting birthplace information for Kentucky and Ohio for Daniel. Daniel fought in the Civil War with his brother Henry and died not long after coming home. Both Daniel and Henry are buried in Indianapolis, Indiana side by side under government issue Civil War tombstones. Daniel was married to Lovina KRATZER and had three children Henry, Jemison, and Hesber? Jemison is James,my great grandfather. We are stuck with Daniel and have not been able to find his father's family.
