Looking for ROGERS last known of Minneapolis Minnesota

I am seeking any information about my paternal great grandparents Benjamin Rogers, born about 1844 in Vermont & his wife Alvira (Walker) born about 1850 in Ohio. They had at least 1 child, my grandfather Roy Clyde Rogers born July 4 1878 in Lincoln Illinois. I loose track of Benjamin & Alvira after the 1880 US census which lists them living in Minneapolis Minnesota.

The next document I can find pertaining to any of them is 1903 marriage license for my grandfather from Missolua Montana.

Any & all assistance and/or suggestions is appreciated.

I am unable to find out what happened to my great grandparents Benjamin - born 1844 in Vermont & Alvira - born 1850 in Ohio (Walker) Rogers after the 1880 US Census that shows them living in Minneapolis Minnesota. My grandfather Roy Clyde was 2 years old at the time. He was born July 4 1878 in Lincoln Illinios. The next document I can find pertaining to any of them is 1903 marriage license for my grandfather from Missolua Montana. Is it possible greatgrandfater Benjamin died & Alvira remarried? Any & all help and/or suggestions is appreciated.

Benjamin Rogers, born in Vermont 1844

I am searching for ancesterial information about my gr grandfather, Benjamin Rogers. He was born in Vermont in 1844. He married (don't know when/where) Alvira Walker who was born in Ohio in 1850. Their son - my grandfather - Roy Clyde was born July 4 1878 in Lincoln Illinios. The 1880 US Census show them living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. That is all I can find. By 1903, my grandfather was married & living in Montana. I also have a couple of unconfirmed leads for my gr grandmother?s lineage but am unable to learn anything further about Benjamin, specifically info about parents / siblings. Also can't find what happened to gr grandparents after my grandfather came of age. I'm the last living member of this line so unfortunately I don't have anybody from an earlier generation I can ask. Any help is appreciated including search suggestions.

As far as I know, I am the last living member of this line. My g grandfather was Benjamin Rogers born in Vermont in 1844. He married (don't know where)Alvira Walker who was born in Ohio in 1850. They had a son - my grandfather - Roy Clyde July 4 1878 in Lincoln Illinios but was living in Minneapolis in 1880 according to the 1880 census. I am unable to determine who Benjamin's parents / siblings were. Is anybody familiar with with this line?
