He ran a restraunt on Puget Sound. No time of migration to America is known or parents.

They came to Buffalo, MN to set up practice. His parents Alexis and Ferdinanda (Vallee) and sister Emma remained in Montreal in the Saint Jacques district. Alexis was a carpenter.
