What Happens When You Die? My Perspective as a Genealogist

Why I Do Genealogy and Why I'm Here

Just a quick note to introduce myself to the folks at Family Tree Circle. My name is Thomas MacEntee and I am a genealogy professional living in Chicago, Illinois.

Some of you may know me as the creator of GeneaBloggers (http://www.geneabloggers.com) which is a community of over 2,800 genealogy bloggers. I've also delivered quite a few genealogy related webinars over at Legacy Family Tree (http://www.legacyfamilytree.com).

This isn't a sales pitch for me or for my many projects. I just wanted to say thanks to Scott for creating Family Tree Circles as a place where genealogy folk can share their information and connection with each other in hopes of solving family history research problems.

To learn more about my own research - mostly in the Hudson Valley and Northern New York areas, visit my genealogy blog Destination: Austin Family at http://destinationaustinfamily.blogspot.com.
