Elizabeth "Eliza" Beresford b 1890 Bow Bells London England d: 1972 Cheltenham, Vic, Australia

She is my daughter in law Vamessa's Great Grandmother, her parents were Thomas Beresford b1861 St Giles in the Fields, Middlesex, England and d: 1902 Strand London England. Mother Eliza Faulkner b abt 1863 St Martin in the Fields, London England. She had four sisters, Maria, Alice, Louisa and Rosina, her being the youngest. I have no immigration records but she did come out with photos of her with three children unknown - maybe nieces and nephews. In 1901 England Census she was at Strand, London, England showing in the Workhouse, Strand. She married Ernest Gamble Prince in 1916 and had two sons, Ernest and Arthur. She apparently never spoke about her life in England. Would love to find out some more of Elizabeth in England. Hope someone can help. Marilyn

JAMES PRESS, B: 1806 STRANGFORD COUNTY DOWN, NORTHERN IRELAND.

married Margaret Milne (no further information on her birth marriage or death). They had a daughter Charlotte Jemima press b 1844 Strangford, Country down northern Ireland. James was employed in the British Merchant Service in the foreign trade as a \\\"Mate\\\" for 24 years and was 20 years when he joined. Is there a site I can find out about his employment?? I have no record of James Press migrating to Australia yet his wife Margaret and daughter Charlotte migrated in 1857 on the Talbot with a connection of going to Ballarat, Victoria Australia. Unable to locate if James Press was in Australia or where he died also his wife and Charlotte moved to Geelong in 1869 but then what happened to Margaret. I can trace Charlotte\\\'s life from when she got married.

John Jennens b: 1721 Bishopsgate, England d: 1755 England married Ann Hammersley 1743 Darlaston, Staffordshire, England.

I can trace the above John's parents, John Jennens 1674 Bishopgate married Mary Broomfield 1713. They had one child which is above John b: 1721
John and Ann went on to have three children, Mary (no information), William b 1743 (no further information) and our line Thomas b 1754 Birmingham, Warwickshire d: 1796 England and married Abigail Gibbons. Their son Joseph b1780 is our line and in 1813 he was found guilty of counterfeit and sentenced transportation to Australia. John Jennens b 1674 still had inheritance money from the Jennens family, but from there (if I am correct) the money filtered away. Can anyone help me.

Known in Australia as Thomas Richard (Birwood??) Page who married Charlotte Jemina Press b: 1844 Strangford, County Down, Northern Ireland d: 1913 Williamstown, Vic, Australia. Would like to know if any other members would know anything about Thomas. I do not have when he migrated but on his marriage certificate it states he was a mariner. It also states his father was Henry Page a farmer and mother Mary Ann Dean. I would love to find out more about Thomas Richard as I am trying to do a story on him for my daughter in law Vanessa.

William Prince b: 1761 Hinton Waldrist, Berkshire, d: 1845 Longworth, Berkshire, England

Can anyone help as to the maiden name of William's wife, Jane. Some will say Jane Wadmore and others Jane Arnold yet a lot of researchers will just say Jane - maybe died 1822 Longworth, Berkshire, England. In my family tree she is my daughter in law, Vanessa's 4th Great Grandmother. thank you
