Merriman ancestory

Hello my name is Percy Goldsmith I am trying to trace the Merriman line, obviously there is a link from England to the arrival in New Zealand 1800,I do not have any dates only names John Merriman who resided in and around both Taneatua/Te Puke in the Bay Of Plenty area of New Zealand maybe 1890-1900, he married Maude Fielding, they in turn had a son John Charles Francis Merriman my late grand-father who met and married Ivy Barnett. I would appreciate any information you may have.

Looking to trace the Merriman bloodline from England to New Zealand, John Merriman married Maude Fielding not sure of dates maybe late 1800's to early 1900's, lived in and around the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.
I do not know anymore on John or his parents, brothers and sisters. Maude Fielding mothers name was Sarah Fielding who was prominent in her own right in and around Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, New Zealand.

P.S I am the oldest grand-child from the Merriman side under Jack (John Charles Francis Merriman & Ivy Barnett) my grand-parents.
