Looking For my 2nd great grandfather Richard W. Morris

I'm trying to find information on my 2nd great grandfather Richard W. Morris who was in the Civil war. And also if he had any brothers or sisters. I believe they were born in South CArolina but not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm reseachering both sides Morris and GArrett

I have been doing my family lines since 1999. I have Garrett going back to Ireland right now and i'm stuck with a brick wall. My Morris family so far comes from GA and SC. On my 'dad's father side myself and my cousin have gotten back to my2nd greaqt grandfather. His name is Richard W. Morris. He married Marthat Ann Connelly. My great grandfather is Richard J Morris and he married Nancy ( Nane Croatan ) Aldrich. On both of those side is Cherokee. need help With the Native American side
