I am researching Thomas Chapple born in 1849 in Farnham Green, Essex, England. His father was also Thomas Chapple.
Thomas married Sussanah Alice Parr, who was born in 1840 in Gedney, Licolnshire, England. Sussanah was the middle daughter of Richard and Ann Parr.
Thomas and Sussanah were not married until after their first two childrenwere born, and so these children were given a double name. Their children were and John Neel Parr-Chapple born in 1862, Alice Parr-Chapple born in 1866 and Charles Henry Chapple born in 1871.
Alice went on to marry Walter Allen Reams and had three children.
I would like to find out more about these Parr and Chapple families, so please get in touch with me.
HI, I AM TRYING TO COMPLETE A ONE NAME STUDY OF CHRISP IN ENGLAND. COMPLETE IS A SILLY WORD REALLY, AS NOTHIGN IN FAMILY HISTORY IS EVER REALLY COMPLETE. BUT IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD ANYTHING TO MY STUDY, OR SEE IF THERE IS ANYTHING THERE WHICH MAY HELP YOU, PLEASE CONTACT ME. I WANT TO TALK TO AS MANY CHRISP PEOPLE AND THEIR RELATIVES AS POSSIBLE. THE EASIEST WYA TO LINK ALL THE INDIVIDUALS IS BY GETTING MORE INFORMATION FROM THOSE PERSONS WITH A VESTED INTEREST IN THE STUDY.
SO I LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU. CHEERS CINDY.
The Chrisp line I have been researching begins with Adam Chrisp who was Christened 8 December 1771 Alnwick, Northumberland. His father was James, but this is all I know I about him.
Adam Married Sarah Morrow (Murray) who was born in 1773, Longframlington, Northumberland. They had three sons: John (b: 1798), James (b:1800) and Adam (b:1808). The youngest son Adam is my direct line, but I am keen to sort out the other brothers lines too. I know a little about John and his desendants, but virtually nothing about James.
CORBETT - Corbett has been incorrectly listed sometimes as Corlett. This Corbett family came from Gloucestershire, England. George Corbett was born in Hartpury, Gloucestershire in 1838, he married Sarah Houldey who was born in 1833 in Gloucester.
They had five children: Florence M. Corbett (b: 1864), Agnes Corbett (b: 1866), Gertrude Corbett (b: 1867), Beatrice M. Corbett (b: 1869), Winifred Corbett (b: 1871). What little information I have about these children is mainly about Agnes, she was a Nurse, and in 1891 was in charge of the Comscote Road, Mission Houses in St Nicholas, Warwickshire.
I would like to find out more about this family.
