Looking for Richard Walsh - convict: 'Blenheim' 1834

I am looking for information about Richard Walsh who was transported to New South Wales, from Ireland, on the 'Blenheim'in 1834. He was convicted of maiming and sentenced to 7 years. He may also have been known as Richard Walshe.

He applied for free passage for his wife, Mary and 6 children, to join him in NSW about 1839. The application records his wife's maiden name as Canfrell, but this may actually be Cantrell, (one researcher on Rootsweb.com has this as 'Cantinell').

There is a possibility that one of Richard's children, Julia Walsh, married Thomas Flynn in 1841 in Penrith/Mulgoa. Julia was also known as Judith Walsh or Whaling.

Richard was granted a "Ticket of Leave" in 1839 - he was residing in the Upper Williams River district, this is in the Hunter Valley NSW.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Wes
