Hello, I am looking for info. on my gggrandfather: "William Patrick Milligan" b.22 Dec. 1822 AL - d.13 Jan 1908 NM. - I live in Oklahoma -=- my Grandfather, Malven Malora Milligan Sr., was the Son of Rosella Belle Weathers/Lancaster Milligan and William Montraville Milligan, he was the Son of William Patrick Milligan and Mary Woods, she was the Daughter of Montraville Woods and Maria Isabela DeJesus Hidalgo Gonzales, and Montraville Woods was the Son of Zadock Woods and Minerva Cottle - of Woods Fort, Fayette Co, Texas. - Does anyone know who the Parents or Siblings of "William Patrick Milligan" were ? (his father is possibly from Tennessee & his mother possibly from Ireland) - I know he left his first wife "Mary Woods" after they had several children and ran away with her younger sister, "Sophronia Woods" later marrying her (Only after "Mary" died in 1873) and they had several children as well while in Texas. They moved around and then William Patrick Milligan died while in Deming, NM. and was buried in the Mountain View Cemetery in Deming, New Mexico. He also changed the spelling of his last name after he ran off with Sophronia and went by: (Milliken) and then by: (Milligin). -=-
I'm also trying to find any info. on my grandfathers brother: William (Will) A. Milligan b.20 Jan 1892 in Indian Territory, Oklahoma - All I know of him is he had a son named "Raymond Milligan" possibly in California. -
