I'm also researching the Ferguson and McAinsh family for a friend. William Robertson Ferguson was born on 9th May 1899 at Milnquarter Cottage, Bonnybridge, Stirlingshire. He married Margaret Docherty on 27th August 1920 in Broomhill House, Bonnybridge, Stirlingshire. William's parents were Duncan Ferguson McAinsh born 30th April 1865 in Uphall, West Lothian and Mary Bellingham born 14th February 1866 in Camelon, Falkirk, Stirlingshire. Duncan and Mary were married on 22nd January 1886 in Bonnybridge. Duncan died on 28th July 1939 at Broomhill House in Bonnybridge. He worked as a brickwork foreman. Mary died on 29th June 1943 at 31 Broomhill Road in Bonnybridge and she worked as a brickworker.
Duncan's parents were William McAinsh born Dunblane 1839 and Margaret Robertson born around 1842 in Edinburgh. William and Margaret were married on 16th January 1863 in Ecclesmachan Manse in West Lothian.
Mary's parents were David Bellingham born around 1839/1841 in Ireland and Martha McHugh born 23rd July 1842 in Culmore, Antrim, Ireland. David and Martha were married in Falkirk on 30th October 1859.

I'm also working on the William Murray tree for a friend. William Murray was born 1861 and died 28th August 1935. He married Jane Hamilton on 15th June 1883 in Levernbank, Neilston, Renfrewshire. Jane Hamilton was born 1862 and died on 2nd September 1935.
William and Jane had a child called George Murray. George was born 18th February 1907 and died 14th April 1974. George married Helen Rae Ross on 14th March 1930 at the Manse in Camelon, Falkirk. Helen was born 1914 and died 30th December 2001. I believe the family are also linked to the Whiteford family from the Glengarnock and Kilbirnie district of Ayrshire.
William Murray's born 1861's Father was also called William Murray. This William Murray was born 17th April 1833 in Falkirk. He married Jane Whiteford in Glengarnock, Kilbirnie, Ayrshire on 4th September 1857. Jane was born in Kilbirnie, Ayrshire in 1830. Jane was the daughter of Robert Whiteford and Esther Mackie.
