Joseph McGiffert Cleland - Irish links

Joseph, b abt 1836, and Brother Robert, b abt 1835, immigrated to New Zealand from Ireland in late 1800s. They were the sons of John and Mary, nee McGiffert.

In NZ, Joseph married Annie Dixon, and Robert Mary Mabey.

Can anyone assist with the Irsh history? ( I believe Belfast area )

John WRIGHT immigrated to New Zealand in the 1870s, was born about 1854 in Ireland. He married Ann Elizabeth Winter in NZ, 1880.

Have little information on John, can anyone assist?
