Looking for family of Milliie Buran...NEE...'' Lintern'' born around 1886 Wellington New Zealand.....mother Maria.....the marriage ended .... Millies dad Thomas later Married a Ellizabeth sheppard,she died 2yrs later...he then married my great nanna Ellen......Millie moved to Australia and was into
opal mining,...... she had step brothers Charles and Edward.....Millie did come and stay with us in NZ when i was around 8yrs old that was 55yrs ago...my dad was
the son of Edward out of wed lock...... his mother Ellen adopted my dad.......hope this missing link will be bridged so i'm able to move further into my past.....Wyn

Looking for my Granddad..Edward was born to Ellen Brown in Dunedin NZ 1890 ... he later took on the Lintern name when mother married a Thomas lintern...... Edward married a Elsie marion Hooker west coast SI.. NZ.1912.
They divorced in 1930...... He lived in Australia as a church man .....''A preacher i think"......I have found a census record on him in the Herbert QLD Australia
in 1925...from there nothing.

Daniel Brown was a sailor lived in NZ around 1860's ..... I do not know where he came from.
Married a Margaret nee Collett......not sure where the marriage took place....had a daughter born 1867 named Ellen " But now it looks like Ellen may have been a twin" "Her sister was Margaret."
Ellen had two boys Edward and Charles....then she married a Thomas Lintern 1901 then became a widow in 1908.
Ellen then married a Robert Peterson in 1909 from Alford Forest south island of NZ...they moved to Tauranga,Tepuke, north island NZ.

Not sure if they married in New Zealand or another country, still working on that one.
