my grandfather is from england and was adopted being a war baby. would anyone have any information regarding his parents. i beleove he also had a sister called Rebecca. not sure if she too was adopted or not.

nicholas married my grandmother Marina Faye Burnett (nee Eddy).

hi i am looking into my grandmothers family tree, now when it comes to her dad, i can barely find any information about it and the information she has given me is minimal.

her fathers name is John Remphrey Eddy and her mothers name is Mary Paretovich. But she has told me that he married once before my great Nana Mary to a lady named Maud. she said she died while giving birth to his first child. Name is Alfred John. i cant find any information anywhere and im at a dead end.

Johns sister is Elva Grace who had two children Henry Chappell and Theo Smith which doesnt make too much sense to me with different surnames.

now John and Elva's parents are:
John Remphrey Eddy (Snr)
Mary Dale

This is where i cant go any further, if anyone there has any information and is able to help me out that would be great. ive tried different spelling of eddy, eddie and remphrey, remfrey, remfry but to no avail im at a loss.
