CRUDGINGTON CLAN FROM TN TO TX

Adram Crudgington had a son named Elijah Eli Crudgington who was born on Sept 26, 1825 in Sullivan Co, Tn. He married Rowena Caroline Fender on Oct 9, 1856 in Roane Co, Tn. Several children were born in Tn, John Robert 1857, Jonathan W. 1859, James Madison 1860 (my great grandfather), Sarah Elizabeth 1861, Cynthia Ann 1863, William Brownlee 1865, Emiline Emma 1867, and George Elbert 1871 or 1874. The last child Lydia Ellen (Ella) 1874 was born in Texas.

Elijah fought in the Civil War. In 1870 moved his family from Tennessee to Texas. He first settled in Kaufman Co, Tx, then in 1877 moved his family to Stephens Co, Tx.
James Madison born was born Aug 13, 1860 in Roane Co, Tn. He died Nov 14, 1938 in Breckenridge, Stephens Co, Tx. He is buried beside his wife Mary McCready born Dec 5, 1862 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and died Jun 9, 1935 in Breckenridge, Stephens Co, Tx. They are buried in the Breckenridge Cementry, Breckenridge, Stephens Co., Tx.
James and Rowena had several children born in Breckenridge, Stephens Co., Tx: Sallie Effie 1884(never married), Callie Emma 1889 (my grandmother), Elijah Elbert 1886, Cynthia Ella 1889, James Madison Jr. 1891 (murdered at the age of 20), Robert Evans (Bob) 1897, William Henry (Bill) 1895, Mattie Eunice 1900, Winnie May 1902, Maggie Velma 1904, Jonahan Newton 1902. Some of these children are buried in the Breckenridge Cementry too.

Looking for Robbins of Stephens County, Tx:

Searching for any information on the Robbins who moved to Stephens County from the 1800 till today. In 1858 Tx Legislature established Stephens County from Bosque County land. In 1860 there were only 198 people living there. In 1861 Tx left the Union and Picketville was assigned as the county seat. Stephens County was orginally named Buchannan County. In 1870 only 300 people live there. By 1880 the county population grew to 4,725. And 45% of those were born in Tx, the rest came from Tennessee, Missoure, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama. In 1876 Breckenridge, Stephens County, Tx became the seat of government.
Most of my ancestors are among the group from Arkansas and Tennessee that a came to Stephens County. My grandfather was Oliver Philander Robbins married Callie Emma Crudgington.
Oliver P. was born 1891 Williamson Co, Tx and died Dec 7, 1962 in Eliasville, Tx at home. He married Callie Emma Crudging born Apr 16, 1889 Breckenridge, Stephens Co, Tx and died Jan 12, 1974 Breckenridge,Tx in a nursing home. There children were Cornelia E. Robbins Dec 10, 1933 to Oct 1, 1937, Cecil Carl Jun 12, 1929-Oct 25, 1930: Oliver Otho Apr 10, 1925-Dec 23, 1928: Mary Annice born ?, died Nov 24 Arlington, Tarranct Co, Tx; James Joseph Jan 1, 1921 Crystal Falls, Crystal Falls, Tx-May 12, 1983 Dallas, Tx in the Va Hospital from a massive heart attack.
Oliver P. Robbins dad was Joseph P. who is buried with all the family in Crystal Falls Cementry, Crystal Falls, Tx. Joseph P. was born ? but died Jan 4, 1930. Very little information is listed about him and need more information to continue my research.

OLIVER FATHER WAS JOSEPH P. ROBBINS WHO IS BURIED IN THE CRYSTAL FALLS CEMENTRY, CRYSTAL FALLS, TX BESIDE HIS SON AND GRANDCHILDREN. JOSEPH P. DAD WAS JOSEPH R.
