JudS on Family Tree Circles

The only information I have on William Pott is a newspaper article where he is mentioned as the father of Harriet Pott when she married John Bonfoy Rooper 13 June 1810. Then he was mentioned as William Pott of Portman Square, London.
Harriet and John Rooper went on and had 11 daughters and 3 sons. Have located quite a few of the children of this union but have hit a brick wall re William Pott. Wondering if anyone is researching this family and can help me find the right William Pott and did Harriet have any brothers or sister plus mothers name?
Where was William Pott born and what was his background at that stage he seemed to have been fairly wealthy as Harriet was mentioned as the the heiress of William Pott.
