TREVITHICK of Melbourne, Australia.

Elizabeth Jane TREVITHICK married John HILL 1868 in Melbourne (his 2nd. marriage).
He had been living in Wellington, New Zealand, where he owned quite significant land. He died 1884, buried Bolton Street Cemetary, Wellington, NZ. She was sole beneficiary, despite some of his 10/11 children still being in Wellington.
No further trace of her in NZ. Where did she go? Did she have siblings/parents in Melbourne ?

Further : On 23 September 1867 a ship by the name of John Temperley arrived in Hobson's Bay (Port Phillip) near Melbourne, from London via Plymouth, one of the passengers onboard was Elizabeth J Trevethick. Aged 23.

Anyone know of this family - would be very keen to hear from you!!
