My interest in tracing my family was piqued by my mother needing to know more about our family, searching for over forty years with little progress. Initially, I thought this would be so easy. Just pop into the local Genealogy Society and hey presto! I would find all the family within minutes with the aid of Computers. How wrong I was!

Ten years later I am still looking and finding more and more family. The more I look the more I find, these discoveries pose more questions, searching for the answers has led me all over the West side of Kent. My family from Nunney, Somerset led me on a merry chase through Wales to Durham then back to Wales. [Somerset, Welsh and Durham names not included here.]
