I enjoy researching the Purswell Family History. I am the daughter of Joseph Layton Purswell and Maybell Williams Purswell. I am the second born child of their six children, four girls, and two boys. My Daddy was a Fiddle player. My Daddy taught us to sing, We had to sing to him hours upon hours as we grew up. I play Guitar and Piano, My Husband playes Lead Guitar, We formed (The Dixie Express Band) in 1985, and have played all over Southeast Alabama and Georgia through the years. We sing Country and Gospel, and are currently playing at the VFW in Eufaula,Alabama.
