Im married into the Berrisford family, My husband?s great grandfather William left from the Stoke-on-Trent UK area in about 1880,for SA in 1890, left Johannesburg probably after 1896, went to Beira via Salisbury and probably Bulawayo, where he died probably before 1899 when the Boer War started.
