I am an ancester of Daniel Bagwill and Sarah Jones through their daughter Sarah Melissa Bagwill Beckett Carter (called "Lissy"), their "furlough" baby. She was conceived during his convelecence when he was sent home to build himself up while serving for the 18th Illinois during the Civil War. Lissy is my great grandmother.
