According to my gg grandfathers death certificate: William Edward Curry born 1829 in Canada died 1914 in Seattle Washington. His father was William Curry born in Scotland and his mother Jane Hull was born in Ireland. By 1860, William jr is married to Samantha Grooms and is living in Elbridge, Onondaga County, New York. This couple had 3 children, Harriet, Laura, and David. The girls never married and became nurses. We find this family in 1870 in Irving Barry County Michigan where Samantha dies in 1870 of cancer. By 1877, William is back in New York and married to Rebecca Ann Wey and of this union two sons are born, Freddie H Curry who dies at the age of 5 by drowing, and William Edward jr. Williams first three children ultimately end up in Seattle Washington where David is married with children but for some reason never lives with them. William Edward is my g grandfather and he moves to Chicago with his half brother James Dove Jr and he marries Cecilia Margaret OHerron. He dies just two weeks after his father in Nov 1914 leaving behind his widow and my grandfather John Wey Curry. I am looking for anyone who might be related to these families.. David Curry has descendents as he had 4 children, Varela, Varda, Benjamin, and Bernice.
