My ggg grandfather Samuel Elliott arrived New Zealand with his 4 children 1843 on the 'Westminster'. Samuel's first wife had died and post arrival he met up with an Elizabeth of whom he shared one child - Louisa Elliott. The big argument that has caused communication problems for sincere well doing family members seeking answers for their family albums is the question of Elizabeth's maiden name and origins. The NZ records have her as Elizabeth White Davy, but there is also an Elizabeth Wright possibility. Some suggest she is one and the same person .... I would love to know..... Cheers, Christina.
