I was born in June 1949 in Corpus Christi, Tx. My family: Father-Frederick Adolph Huffmeyer (deceased), Mother-Ruby Alice Moff Huffmeyer; Sister-Kay Huffmeyer; Brother-Andrew Fredrick Huffmeyer. I married a USMarine and was not in the area for some years, but now we are back (retired) and I am interested in finding my ancestors. We held a reunion back in the early '80s in the Bandera area, but I can not remember much about it. My great grandfather was from Bandera, TX; my grandfather was from San Antonio, TX. I've just started doing research myself, but my first cousin has most of the records prepared by others in our immediate family. My sister, Kay, has also done some research in the past few years.
Any help will be appreciated. I have been looking on any of the free sites.
We may plan a small reunion this summer to compare what we have collected so far.
