My father's family comes from east Tennessee, around Cumberland County. He left there to join the Navy, served in Korea, met my mother in Brunswick GA, got married, had 7 kids [Jewell, Joyce, Billy, me, Robby, Faye, and Daniel]. We settled in North Charleston SC. I stayed there until after school, joined the Navy [like Dad], travelled, landed in Texas post-Navy, so here I am looking for more about my dad's family.
