I have been working on my family tree for about the last six years or so. My sister began working on the tree many years ago and then she started having young-uns and the family tree research got put aside. Since she has her hands full raising her babies and since my babies are all grown up I have taken over the family tree research. It is amazing all the things you can learn. It's like a huge puzzle you are trying to put together.

For example, I have learned we fought as confederates in the civil war, we were slave owners, we were horse people, doctors, land owners, farmers, and much, much more.

My personal interests besides genealogy is art, music, reading, and gardening. I have two grandchildren that I love to spoil. I live in Lexington, Kentucky and work at a consulting firm.
