He married Hannah Tabitha Postell Law, born in South Carolina, and purchased land in Alabama in 1859 and 1860. Their son, Charles Capus McEachern, 1837-1895, was a Second Lieutenant in the Confederate Army and later first Postmaster of Sowilpa, Alabama. I am looking for more ancestors, i. e., James Duncan's parents.
