Seeking naturalization information for Soren Frederick NELSON (NIELSEN), b 17 Jan 1879 Tommerup, Ars, Holbaek, Denmark; d 8 May 1952 Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California, United States. Parents: Jens NIELSEN and Ane Katrine FREDERIKSEN. Settled Salt Lake City, Utah by 1902, married Jennie Konstance ERICKSEN. Moved to Los Angeles, California by 1930, where he lived till death. Buried there. Family stories say he went AWOL from a Danish ship about 1900 while in some port in the United States. Family records have him joining the military in WWII, 25 Apr 1942 (at age 63).
