In my family tree I have a William Peace b 1849 in Kentucky. I had assumed this was a William E Peace but recently research has connected him to William L Peace b 1849 in Kentucky. This has not been verified by me though.

I am helping a friend to search for a William E. Peace from someone who has actual verification of either of the above William Peace names.

William E Peace

1850 Census records shows an infant William E Peace listed as living with an older couple named Smith and an Elizabeth A Peace (27 years) and a pauper named Roice (Reese or Reece) (about 88 years)

1860 Census records shows (if this is the same William Peace) he is living with only George and Mary Coats (in their late fifties, early sixties).

William E Peace goes on to marry Rosaltha Logsdan

In my reseach I also found a William Peace with a son named Jephthah(?) married I believe to another woman, possibly a Sarah, with one or two additional children and in a later record found a marriage record of an Amy Peace, daughter of William Peace (1849) and Sarah, which would have given William one child by a first relationship with Rosaltha and three children from a relationship with Sarah.

Any verifiable information would be greatly appreciated on either William Peace. Thank you.
