I am descended from BROWN, SHERRED/SHERROD, PICKERING, CHANEY ancestors. I have followed all these lines far back ( some into the 1500's) except for the BROWNS. My one brickwall is SYLVESTER BROWN born in 1824 in Delaware County, New York and he died June 15 1895 at Ellington, New York and is buried in Poland, New York cemetery. All of the records and documents of his life list no parents for him so I can go no farther back into his past.
I have five grown children and fourteen grandkids and eight great grandkids. I enjoy reading the paper with my morning coffee out by the pond and waterfall in my back yard. My main interests other than family are reading, genealogy and finding new cousins I did not know existed.
