I am researching my ggrandfather Karel Olanson Hanen born c1853 in Norway, he was a sailor and migrated to Australia I don't know when.

He married Jane Gurney in Sydney in 1886. They had many children Arthur William, Christopher, Joseph M, John (killed in action in France 1916), George Nelson (my grandfather), Olivia M, Maisie (May).

My ggrandfather used many variances of his name :-Karel O Hansen; Karel Olauson (he was divorced in Sydney in 1914 as this name); Olaus Hansen; Olans C Hansen; Olaus Elias Hansen; Olans Elias Hansen - he died under this name on 7 April 1936 in Sydney, NSW.

My grandfather George Nelson Hansen was married to Eurie May Byrnes from Tinonee, on the North Coast of NSW around the Entrance way. They had three children Ronald George Hansen, Arthur Joseph (my father) and Beryl May. They are all deceased.

Ronald George Hansen moved to Brisbane c1953 and fathered 4 children. He lived around the Moorooka area. So I am looking for information relating to him as well. I believe his partner could have been Thelma Grace Barker or 283 Hanson Road, Salisbury Qld.
