REED of Essex UK, my Gggrandparents also PATTON of Stronalor Donegal Ireland.

My Gg grandfather was Richard REED, who was sent to Australia as a convict in 1837, he was 19 years old. When he was 24 he married Olivia LUCAS the, 19 year old granddaughter of first fleet convicts Nathaniel LUCAS and Olivia GASCOIGNE, her grandparents on the maternal side were Kennedy MURRAY and Ann WHITE, also convicts.
During Richard's trial at the Essex Assizes mention was made of his bad parents. This comment was made by the occupier of Havering Castle, near Havering-atte-bower, Essex, so I assume the senior REED worked on this estate. Richard's brother Robert, also a convict in 1844, mentions two siblings, Amelia and Hannah. Richard and Olivia named their eldest child Henry and a daughter Mary, these names were not Olivia's parents names...two further children were named Eliza and James after Olivia's parents, a further child was named Richard after Richard the child's father.
SUPPOSITION
Richard and Roberts parents names are Henry and Mary...because of Richard's children's names
Sisters are Hannah ( could be Ann) and Amelia...marriages?
Parents worked on Estate of Havering Castle as ag. Labourers as both sons were ag. Labourers.

Also trying to trace Irish ggggrandparents, from Stronolar,Neil PATTON or PATTEN and Catherine MCLAUGHLIN, their son James came to Australia, NSW on the Kate in 1852, as free settler and settled in Warrnambool Victoria.
