Charles arrived in Calcutta in May 1841(19yrs) on board the Helen Mary Captained by T. Palmer from Colombo. Occupation stated was Medical Pupil.

Charles Edward Pyster b 02.11.1822 Colombo d 27th October 1883 in Badapur, Assam. Married Hester Adelaide Margaret Jacob b 18 Nov 1826 in Calcutta on 25th March 1845 in St Andrew Calcutta.

Second marriage was to Theodora Henrietta Moran (Dolly) b 4 Aug 1827 Berhampur, West Bengal, India d 1855

They had 1 son Charles Edward Pyster Jnr b 13 Feb 1855.

Third marriage was to Charlotte Smart b 02.03.1837 Calcutta d 14.12.1877 in 1859.
