I am searching for information about the Finley family that I believe began with Francis (Fennell) Finley who emigrated here from Ireland and changed his Fennell surname to Finley when he got here. I am descended from John Finley and his son Edmund Burke Finley. My great grandmother was Linnie Alberta Finley who married Lewis Eugene Roswell in 1880. Family lore has us related to Sir Edmund Burke through the Finleys.

If anyone has any information about these people and their Irish origins, I would like to hear from you.
