Currently, I am extremely interested in genealogy, almost to the point that it has become a hobby for me. It was amazing to find that my family is originally from Switzerland and Germany. Also, many of my descendants served as captains, privates, etc. in numerous wars/battles. But though discovering this information was a fun experience, there are still gaps that I have not bridged. And there are still things I am dying to know. So, I plan to continue my research, heavily, until I reach an ending point (which I hope there isn't one, lol). I would like to conclude that I feel it is a great feeling knowing your heritage, culture, and where you come from. And to those who consider family research and geanealogy a waste of time, I say, they just haven't tried it!
