Jane Jennings wife of Alfred William Hansard, Auckland, NZ

b. about 1817 to William Jennings and Hannah Moore (both still living 1841)
William was a bookeeper..assume Dublin but can't locate any records

Jane arrived NSW (Sydney) on the Burhampooter Aug 1841 along with sisters Sarah and Maria Frances all native of Dublin. Assisted Immigrant, needlewoman. They were mentioned in the book Minding Her Own Business: Colonial Businesswomen in Sydney by Catherine Bishop. but I have not been able to get a copy of the information.

I have been able to trace Maria Frances marriage to Edward Wardell (who was a witness at Jane's wedding to AW) however, I can't trace when Jane came to NZ. I have information on Maria moving to Ballaratt, Australia and her husband drowning at a young age while she survived for almost 30 years.

Also, I have been unable to locate any information on William and Hannah in Dublin as I can't locate the girl's baptismal records.
