Tilman Fields, born 1826
Tilman Fields, born 1826 Va., married Paulina (Byles), born 1832 Va. in 1852 Tazewell Cty. Tilman and Paulina lived in Scott Cty. in 1860. Tilman was in Civil War, taken prisoner and died in 1865 at Camp Douglas in Chicago. Their children were William, born 1852, Elleanor, born 1856, George Henry, born 1858 and Catherine, born 1861. Paulina is no where to be found in 1870 but appears in Tazewell Cty., Va. from 1880. She also has a son born in 1872 by the name James Jefferson, father unknown. Need help to determine Tilmans ancestry and also Paulina. In 1860 there was a Catharine Boiles, born 1786 living with them, possibly Paulinas mother, but unknown.
