I have done some research and know a little history. I cannot seem to find any iformation regarding my greatgrandfather George Marcy and his wife Melissa Pruitt or Pruett and one of their daughters who happens to be my grandmother, Lila or Lela Marcy. Someone helped me with the information I do have of my grandmother's siblings. George and Melissa I believe may have met and married during the early 1800s in Texas or Oklahoma.
