I am looking for any info on James N. Jarrett who lived in Thomasville, NC. He was married to Sally Annie Rebecca Westmoreland, Daughter of David Stephen Westmoreland & Juliana or (Julina) southern. Juliana died and he married her sister Nancy Fewell Southern. This family is connected with the Thomasville Chair Factory. My Grand Mother was Eula Westmoreland Jarrett Baird. The name Westmoreland was used as a middle name. It has also been spelled Westmoland. Her father was James N. Jarrett. She had two sisters Essie & Ola. One brother Luther Jarrett. There were more siblings and I do not have their names. This Westmoreland family under went a name change from the name of Neville during the revolution of 1776. The Jarrett side is suspose to have come from Pennsylvania and my granny said they were french. The Bairds are Scots, the Westmorelands were English. I have found out that James N. Jarrett is the son of Ephraim Jarrett and Mary Hall. They were married in 1848 Davidson co NC. Ephraim will be a little harder. I do not know if Ephraim is a surname.
