robinson13 on Family Tree Circles

Hello to all that read this, I have been following my family line for two years now, mainly the Robinson family of the Cheshire area of England, but it seems one family member moved to Australia. The details i have are very few indeed and my knowledge of Australia is very limited.But through help,I would like to narrow my search field down as far as possible.
the only details i can post here and hope for some help are as follows:
George Robinson : born 4th quarter 1920 Weaverham Northwich Cheshire England(cheshire central we/42/293) his mother was Mary Ann Robinson born Carden. father George Benjamin Robinson both from the Winsford area in Cheshire. George had 3 brothers and two sisters all lived in England.
He served during the Second World war and was stationed in Burma. after leaving the army after the war he joined the UK police force and some time after that emigrating to Australia and join the police force there as a mounted police office.
the only know fact i have is a last know address which is 3/89 Rosanna rd, Heidelberg, Victoria, 3084, New South Wales.
George was married to Shirley (no maiden name known)but they met on the boat coming to Australia George emigrating and Shirley returning home to Australia after a holiday in England.
a possible wedding date is 10/3/51/ Noreeman West Australia, i have no idea what this could mean and any help would be gratefully received
